FLOOD RISK ASSESSMENTS
FOR APPLICATIONS TO LOCAL AUTHORITIES
Flood Risk Assessments for Local Authority Applications (Change of Use Applications)
Investors and Property Developers often purchase properties with a view to developing them.
In some instances, developers may purchase a property with the intention to change its use.
For example, a developer may purchase a Public House (pub) and intend to convert this property into residential apartments/flats. If the location of the property falls into a geographical zone in which there is a risk of flooding, the Local Authority will usually require a Flood Risk Assessment to be carried out taking various different factors into consideration.
We can carry out the Flood Risk Assessments as part of the planning process.
